Our proposals – known as Perryian Works – respond to the site’s recognised potential by seeking to deliver a flagship student accommodation-led scheme that will reimagine a key gateway into Birmingham city centre.
The proposals will also set the standard for high-quality development in the area and catalyse further investment nearby, including in the Knowledge Quarter and Gun Quarter.

The proposals will deliver a dynamic variety of amenities, with active frontages on the ground floors, for commercial or leisure uses. These amenities will create interest and activity at street level and will be supported by the provision of new high-quality public spaces, making for a vibrant and active community that can be enjoyed by both residents and the wider community.

Our plans to redevelop this underutilised brownfield site will deliver two landmark towers comprising of student accommodation, all of which will be studios, making a strong contribution towards meeting Birmingham’s student population housing needs. The towers will act as a focal point for the area on the edge of Lancaster Circus Queensway and Lawson Street.
